What’s new at ToolBarn?
The What’s New at ToolBarn podcast will let you know what we have for you to take a look at. We cover new products, technologies, and website features.
Welcome to the first ever “What’s new at ToolBarn” podcast. Being that this is the first one, that means this podcast is new. Actually, podcasting in general is new at ToolBarn, and we’re excited to be able to talk to our customers. We feel it should assist in keeping the most valuable people at ToolBarn - namely our customers - in the loop better as to what all is going on, exciting offers, new product lines, and ways we generally make the experience better for you. Yes, these podcasts are all about you.
Also fairly new is Sqwincher. We’ve been selling more powdered Gatorade on our website than we knew what to do with for quite some time now, so we decided to bring in Sqwincher as well. They are similar, but have a few differences. First, the formulation is especially for working, not sports. Second, they have individual sizes which you can mix with a 20 oz bottle of water. Finally, they have sugar free flavors, which is perfect for those of us watching our sugar intake. I think this is a nice addition and have been doing my part to make them feel welcome by drinking some every day.
We have some new diamond blades on our site with the ToolBarn logo listed next to them. These are generics that we feel strongly enough about the quality to put our name with them. There are also diamond core bits, diamond grinding cup wheels, and some diamond stone polishing pads. We think you’ll find the prices pretty attractive as well as the quality.
CST/Berger is a new line of lasers at ToolBarn. They’ve got some innovative products as well as the levels everyone else has, but the quality is excellent for the price.
Ingersoll Rand has been added to our lineup, and we’re in the process of bringing in stock. Soon, we’ll have many more of their products available, but we’re starting out with what we can easily stock and will be expanding our offerings over time. Many of you are probably already familiar with this great line of cordless and pneumatic tools, so more introduction shouldn’t be necessary.
One item which has been on the site a while but is still worth mentioning as a newer addition is the Ridgid SeeSnake Micro. With a flexible shaft supporting a camera head and a 2.5″ color LCD screen, it’s great for inspection behind hard to move items, under water or inside walls. It may be listed as on backorder, but I’d advise getting in line now if you’d like one.
The final item for this podcast is our Drill Selectors. We’ve embraced AJAX programming to create a drill selector to help you narrow down the choices quickly and find the drill you’re really looking for. When you get to either the cordless drill or electric drill pages on ToolBarn, you’ll have a link at the top of the page for the selector. Using the drop-down boxes, you can quickly narrow down the choices from 177 cordless and 117 electric drills.
That’s it for this time. Thanks for joining us, and check back to keep up on What’s new at ToolBarn.
